It’s important that we have good attendance at this meeting. We will see you there.
Lake Smith Conservationists are looking for some help on Saturday, November 21 and on Sunday November 22 if we don’t finish.
They will be planting dune grass at 8526 Lakeshore Rd. right beside Bade’s Marina, and 2 doors down from MacPhersons. They have 13 bags to do, and 2 people can do a bag in a couple of hours. So they need some help. There will be pizza provided. Starting at 9 a.m.
this is a great opportunity to help the Conservationists and our community, who help us a lot!!!!
Please let me know asap if you are able to help, even if for a couple of hours, and how many people you will be bringing – many hands make light work!
The Eh Team wins gold in the Premier B Consolation final at the Walgreens Orlando International Dragon Boat Festival
Congratulations to the everyone that raced in the Stratford race yesterday. We placed third in B Championship Final and came home with medals. It was a tough race as we had the lane 4 however everyone wanted to win this race and gave it everything. Amazing job everyone! What a nice way to end our racing season. I want to thank everyone for showing up at the site on time. It made things much easier for me especially when they were ahead of schedule. The weather was cold and it rained but everyone’s spirits were up. Thanks Don for doing an amazing job steering the team on Saturday and thanks to the three paddlers and drummer from Lambton Shores Dragonboat club for helping us fill the boat. Also a big thank you to all the coaches Randy, Kelvin and Chris for helping us train during the season to get us prepared for the races.
Good morning everyone, our next volunteer effort is the Sunday of the Forest Fair, September 27th. We have 24 shifts to fill in total, it would be best if you can work a complete shift and even better if you want to work 2 or 3 🙂 (more…)
