50/50 Winner

The Lambton Shores Super Strokers Dragon Boat team held its 50/50 draw on Monday, August 3rd at the Boot Hill Jamboree. Pictured on the left is the winner of the draw, Pete Spence. Mr. Spence is from Muirkirk, Ontario near Lake Erie. Super Strokers dragon boat coach Cathy Johnson is giving Mr. Spence a cheque for $ 5025.00. The proceeds for this draw will be used to purchase a smaller dragon boat which will hold 10 paddlers. The U18 team will be using these boats at the pan American Club Crew championships on August 14th to 16th at Welland Flatwater Centre.
